Pablo Kjølseth plays "Valdez," the foreman of Colonel Chandler's ranch. He has appeared in the films Tubes of Fire (1998), Deep Astronomy and the Romantic Sciences (2022), and in the Alex Cox films Bill the Galactic Hero and Tombstone Rashomon.

Kjølseth is also a freelance writer, working mainly for Turner Classic Movies, and was formerly the director of the University of Colorado Boulder's International Film Series (IFS) starting in 1997, the longest-running, continuous arthouse calendar film series west of the Mississippi.

While working as the CU-Boulder International Film Series curator, Kjølseth hosted a podcast with Cox in which they talked movies while sipping beer. It lasted for over a hundred episodes (and several hundred beers), which you can find here.
