Fresh off its Audience Award for Best Narrative Film at the San Francisco Independent Film Festival, "DEAD SOULS" has been picked up by Kino Lorber for a theatrical release and streaming/physical media. The first US screening will be in Seattle at the Central Cinema on July 2, 2026, then at the fabulous Clinton Street Theater in Portland on July 3. There will also be two screenings in Portugal: the first, at the Cineclube Gardunha, is on Thursday 4 June and the second, at the fabulous Cinemateca in Lisbon, is on Thursday 11 June at 1900 hrs. Vera Acacio and Javier Arnal, Tabernas' finest musical team, will play after the Gardunha sceenings at the local motorcycle club. The film is also invited to the Zerkalo Festival in Ivanova, Russia (Andrei Tarkovsky's home town) from the 26-30th of June, 2026. Next the film will play at the Oldenburg Festival in Germany, occurring on the 16-20th of September.

The script will be published by Oldcastle later this year—in the form of a flip-book. Look at it from one side, it's the screenplay; Turn it over, and it's the original Dead Souls, in translation. The cover art is by Associate Producer Jamie Jamieson.
