A HOLIDAY MESSAGE FROM BETTY OKINO

BETTY ANSWERS X-MAS MAIL

I wanted to let all of my readers know about the charity event that I'll be participating in, this Thursday the 20th of November.

As part of an ongoing commitment to improving the lives of children around the world, nearly 600 Southern California McDonald's restaurants will rally together between Nov. 20-23 to host World Children's Day -- the single-largest global fund raiser benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) and other children's charities. More than 26,000 McDonald's restaurants worldwide are expected to participate in a variety of fundraising activities as a demonstration of McDonald's dedication to giving back to the communities in which it does business.

Some fellow Olympians and I will be at the 11970 Ventura Blvd. McDonald's in Studio City, supporting the event. We'll be there from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Thursday, November 20. Stop by say hi, buy a fry, and donate some money for a great cause.

If you can't make it to Studio City, CA., to see me, then cruise into a McDonald's near you, and show your support. Extend a helping hand, and generate smiles around the world.

Remember, Nov. 20-23 is World Children's Day.

Help make this world a better place.
