This song is kind of a mix of the theme songs for "The A-Team" and "21 Jump Street." It was finished on the day of filming, but I overslept—meaning I was asleep at 3am, like a normal person—and the fax I sent to the production office with the finished lyrics was never brought to the set (instead the actors just repeated "Kid Cops," over and over, in lieu of singing the song). Here are the intended lyrics—imagine Taylor and Brewster alternating the lines (although I think we should have filmed the opening credits for the show as an action set piece, using Joey's kid brother):

FULL DISCLOSURE: I had more deleted stuff online, but I accidentally put up a rehearsal tape of great scene and got into trouble... so I will just say it proved Paget is indeed the funniest human being on the planet. Anyway, if you want to see other cut scenes, rehearsals, etc., too bad! Either buy the film rights or get to know me a LOT better!
