DBNS Music Supervisor Stuart C. Bailey is the half-brother of Guns N Roses' lead singer W. Axl Rose. Stuart, Axl (then known as William Bailey) and sister Amy (shown at right) were brought up in a deeply religious Pentecostal/Holiness family, raised in a strict home in which they weren't allowed to listen to anything except gospel or Elvis music. Stuart and his siblings, known as The Bailey Trio, sang gospel music together, starting out in the back of a library and later moving to a church out in the country.

Axl later recalled: "We had The Bailey Trio—me and my brother and sister—and we worked out three-part harmonies and we'd get up in front of church and we'd sing like some gospel hit of the seventies. A little bit more rocked out than the actual hymns ya know. But, I was like the bass singer. It was so much fun. It was really weird to think about that. We looked so geeky."

That early interest in music paid off for both Axl and Stuart, who is known for his work in the music department on about 14 films, including DBNS, Mach 2 (2000), Endangered Species (2002) and Fallout (1999), and in the Sound Department on about forty other films (definitely making him more prolific than Axl).
