Good Cut

Bond is arrested in Paris after destroying half of Paris trying to catch May Day. The desk sergeant goes through Bond's possessions, announcing "one watch," which contains a garroting wire; "one pen," which leaks a acid-like ink; and "one lighter," which becomes a flame-thrower, almost scorching the sergeant's forehead.

Bad Non-Cut I:
The poisoned fake butterfly scene was first thought up for Moonraker, but rejected as too outlandish. Which gives you a pretty good indication of the quality of this film.

Bad Non-Cut II:
During a fairly decent opening sequence, suddenly all reality is thrown out the window as 39 seconds of The Beach Boys' "California Girls" is played during a snow chase. As Brian Wilson might say: "I feel so nauseous, I wanna go home."

Undercover

In early drafts of the screenplay, Zorin's plan was to manipulate the course of Halley's comet and cause worldwide destruction.

Tanya Roberts (Stacey Sutton): "Most of James Bond's leading ladies, including the likes of Jane Seymour and Ursula Andress, have gone on to become big, big stars. I'm going to join them. At last we've got the money together so I don't have to do any more rubbish. I'm not taking my clothes off any more and I'm not going to do films which make me look stupid anymore!"

Tanya's next movie was four years later: Purgatory - The Women's Prison That's One Step from Hell.
