Laurie Shiers as "Madonna Wanna-be"

The incredibly beautiful Laurie Shiers plays a Madonna wanna-be who dated a ponytailed Ted in the 1980's. Ironically, Laurie actually won a Madonna lookalike contest as a teenager. Now Madonna only wishes she looked like Laurie.

She starred in Creative Light's film, THE ADVENTURES OF CINDERELLA'S DAUGHTER with Shirley Jones and Joe Lando. She's also been seen on BEVERLY HILLS, 90210, PARKER LEWIS CAN'T LOSE, NORMAL LIFE, MARRIED WITH CHILDREN, and DEAR JOHN. She also played "Nurse Walker" in THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. Of course, with a nurse looking like Laurie, male patients would never recover.

A Los Angeles native, Laurie has always found creative ways to make a living while supporting her acting habit. Most notably, in 1995, she co-created, starred in and wrote for the world's very first episodic website, "The Spot". She also co-created GrapeJam, the first web sitcom, and co-founded America Online's Entertainment Asylum.
