The woman who would vex BachelorMan is the delightful and wonderfully talented Missi Pyle. Best known as the scene-stealing, squeaky alien in GALAXY QUEST, Missi was a series regular on THE WAYNE BRADY SHOW and has starred in several features, including BRINGING DOWN THE HOUSE, JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS, SNOW DAYS and AS GOOD AS IT GETS.

Missi was born, A. Kay Pyle (first name is withheld by request) on Nov. 16. 1972 at Rosewood Hospital in Houston, TX to her parents, Frank and Linda.

When Missi was about 6 months old, her family kept calling her "our little Missi" and the name just stuck.

Missi grew up in Houston and Katy, Texas until age 12. As a youngster, Missi had lots of friends, and loved to laugh and play games.

There are five Pyle siblings: Julie, Debbie, Sam, Paul, and Missi (the baby). Missi now also has a half brother and half sister, Gordon age 13, and Meredith, age 15.

When Missi was 12, she moved to Germantown (right outside of Memphis), Tennessee to live with her mother and stepfather. There she attended Germantown High School, one of the top 3 performing arts high schools in the country. Missi knew by about age 12 or 13 that she wanted to be an actress, so she started auditioning for roles in all her high school productions. A talented singer, she played Nanette in NO NO NANETTE, The Witch in Soundheim's INTO THE WOODS, and the female lead in ANYTHING GOES. She also had parts in the MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD and several other non-musical plays.

Missi was accepted to North Carolina School of the Arts in North Carolina by audition in 1991. She graduated 4 years later with a degree in acting. While there, she was the lead in several plays. Her parts included Cressida in Shakespeare's TROILUS AND CRESSIDA, among others. The Shakespearian training would serve her well in her preparation for the complicated, beautiful language of BACHELORMAN.

After graduation, she was picked up by the Paradigm Agency in New York, and did many productions and voice overs in New York City. Her big break came in performing in Chicago as John Malcovitch's wife in the Steppenwolf Theater Production of THE LIBERTINE.

Today, Missi lives near Los Angeles, Ca. with a cat named Chester, a 3-legged dog named Saskia, and a two-legged husband named Antonio Sacre.
